Donpachi is a vertically scrolling shoot'em up developed by Cave and published by Atlus. It was also released for Saturn and Playstation.

Xatax is a horizontally scrolling shoot'em up developed and published by Pixel Painter Crop. It was released as a shareware.

You start off with your standard weapon and a smart bomb. Smart bombs destroy all enemies on screen and are sometimes left behind by destroyed enemies. There are various items to improve your weapons. You can find an upgrade which makes your main weapons stronger, a satellite which will follow your ship and fire as well, missiles which shoot in a 45 degree angle up and down, extra lives, rapid fire and a shield which protects you against enemy shots for a short time. If get hit by an enemy shot, you loose one of your additional weapon improvements. If you have no improvements left, you loose a life. If you crush into enemies or obstacles, your ship will get destroyed immediately.

Banana Prince (known as Bananan Ouji no Daibouken (バナナン王子の大冒険) in Japan) is a platformer developed by KID (Kindle Imagine Develop) and published by Takara. It was only released in Japan and Germany, and the German release is in German language only.

The game takes place on the island kingdom of Banana. One day, the Paprika Dragon comes to the island and steals three treasures of the kingdom. Banana Prince, the prince of the kingdom, vows to bring back the treasures.

Banana Prince is a platformer where you need to through each stage within a time limit. The stages are grouped, the last stage of each group is a boss fight. You have an axe to knock out enemies, and you can buy other weapons in a shop. The currency is rings which can be collected in each stage. Apart from normal jumps, you can plant a stalk and climb it to reach higher places. You can also kneel down and dash. At the end of each stage, you can choose to either enter the weapon shop, visit the bonus island or go to the casino. You can bet rings to win more at the casino. The bonus island is similar to a Japanese console board game. You move around a board by throwing a dice. Depending on the field you arrive at, you either have to answer trivia question or you can win a bonus with a scratch ticket. There is a boss field on the island. If you land on it, you have quiz fight against boss, in which you can win a bonus item.

Bunny Bricks is an arcade game developed and published by French company Silmarils. It was also released for Amiga, Atari ST and Amstrad CPC.

Bunny Bricks is a variant of Breakout/Arkanoid. Instead of a paddle, you control a catoon bunny with a baseball bat. You can hit the ball forward, to the left or to the right. You can also do a dash to the left or right. There are several extras you can collect. For example, you can get a submachine gun which you can use to shoot bricks, a stronger forward hit (which makes the ball destroy several bricks in its way) or lower speed for the ball. Sometimes you have obstacles you have to clear in a different way, like dynamite which you have to blow up by activating a switch.

Note: I used a trainer for infinite health.

Rostam and Esfandiar is an action-adventure by Iranian developder Zohal Electronics.

As far as I can tell, the game is based on the story of the battle between Rostam and Esfandiar from the book Shahnameh.
You apparently take control of Rostam and need to to solve a few puzzles to to get to Esfandiar and defeat him. You can pick up and use items, there seems to be no other command. Using the right item in the correct spot will solve a puzzle.

Space Crusade is a strategy game originally developed by British company Gremlin Graphics Software for C64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. It was ported to the PC by British company RW Software and published by Gremlin Graphics Software. The game was also released for Amiga and Atari ST.

Space Crusade is an adaption of the eponymous boardgame (the latter is called Star Quest in some countries). It is set in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40000 universe.

You take control of a group of Space Marines and go on various missions. You can choose between three orders of Space Marines. Your consists of a leader and four other marines. All are differ in equipment and speed. The game is turn-based and you have a limited number of turns to complete your objective. Each Marine has two actions per turn, and you can only perform each action once per Marine. Actions include movement, shooting, melee attack, givings orders, opening doors and using the scanner. The scanner will reveal enemies within a certain radius around you, but it cannot determine the type. Once enemies are located, you usually see their movement on the map during enemy's turn. Occasionally, there are random events happening during a turn, like "weapons jammed" (you cannot use heavy weapons during this turn) or "report in" (leader may not move or give orders this turn).

Metal Slug 4 is a shoot'em up and run-and-gun developed by Noise factory and Korean corporation Mega Enterprises, and published by Playmore (in Japan) and Mega Enterprises (in Korea). It was also released for Neo Geo AES, PC, PS2, Xbox and Wii (for the latter only as part of Metal Slugf Anthology).

Jungle Wars is a JRPG developed by Atelier Double and published by Pony Canyon. It was only released in Japan.

Star Wars Arcade is an action-spaceflight game developed and published by Sega. It was also released for the 32X.

You lay an X_Wing fighter pilot and take part in the battle for Yavin IV. You fight your way through the Imperial Fleet to the Death Star, make your way towards the reactor and blow it up.

The game is an action-spacelifht game similar to Wing Commander or X-Wing, but simpler and more action-oriented. You see the action from the cockpit of your X-Wing. You can steer and adjust your speed. Your weapons are blasters and proton torpedoes, the latter have a homing function when you have a target locked on. Your blasters cannot overheat. The stock of torpedoes is limited, but replenishes over time. If you get hit or collide with something, your shield will go down and eventually disappear. You have a number of shield. If you get shot when having no shields left, it's game over.
The game has a 2-player co-op mode where the second player becomes the gunner of the X-Wing.

Note: The emulation for the game in my emulator is still incomplete, sound is missing, graphics are not fully done and the game run slower.

Star Wars Trilogy Arcade is a shoot'em up developed and published by Sega. It was only released in the arcades.

The game is a sequel to Sega's Star Wars Arcade. You play through several missions which are based on scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy, like the attacks on the Death Stars or the Battle of Hoth. Most levels are railshooter sequences, very similar to LucasArts' Rebel Assault games, but rendered in real-time 3D. In some levels, like the speed bike level on Endor, you can alter your direction a little bit to avoid collisions. You get to fly many vehicles, but there are also some level where you are on foot. During these levels, your weapon has a heat gauge. If your weapon overheats, you cannot fire for a short time. There are two event buttons which can sometimes use to call for help. Two special levels in the game include the lightsaber. Here, you don't shoot. Instead, the game will give you directions to point your sword to in order to fend of attacks.

The Legendary Axe (known as Makyou Densetsu (魔境伝説, "Legend of the Demon-Infested Place") in Japan) is a platformer and beat'em up developed Victor Musical Industries and published by NEC (in North America) and Victor Musical Industries (in Japan).

The story is set in Conan-like Sword&Sorcery world. You play a barbarian called Gogun whose girlfriend Flare was kidnapped by the Cult of Jagu. Armed with a legendary axe called "Sting", Gogun is out to rescue Flare.

Mutation of J.B. is a point-and-click adventure developed by Slovakian company Invention (with some input of Austrian company neo Software) and published by Germany company TopWare CD Services (in German-speaking countries) and Slovakian company Riki Computer Games (in Slovakia). It was only released in german and Slovakian language, as far as I know.

You play a young boy called Johnny Burger who visits his cousin Emmanuel in the town of Cool Lake for 2 week summer vacation. When he arrives at Emmanuel's home, he only finds a note that he had to leave for some urgent business. Then a scientist, Prof. Foogl, appears in search for emmanuel, since the latter was working as a test subject for Foogl's latest invention. Foogl convinces Johnny to serf as a test subject instead by offering money. Unfortunately, the professor gets abducted by aliens during the experiment, causing the experiment to fail, turning Johnny into an anthropomorphic pig. Now Johnny needs to find the professor to make him turn Johnny back, and to give him the promised money.

Ejihon Tantei Jimusho (エジホン探偵事務所), roughly "Character Picture Book Detective Agency") is an educational puzzle game developed and published by Sega. It was only released in the arcades, and only in Japan.

A duo of apprentice detectives, Temona-kun and Meruko-chan, try to catch a criminal called Phantom Dopon.

The game is a hidden object puzzle game. You get a picture which is roughly two screens high, and the picture is full of Japanese characters (kanji most of the time, sometimes kana). All characters are the same, except one. You need to find the single different character within a time limit. Your time is limited by your health, which is represented by a gauge made of hearts. The gauge will decrease over time, and you loose a full heart for every failed trial to find the character. If you run out of health, it's game over, unless you isnert credit. However, you can only use one continue for each picture. If you fail again, you get a different picture. If you find the character, you get one heart back and a number of points based on the time you took. At the top of each picture, there is a Japanese sentence which gives a hint how the differing character looks like, and if you take too long, the game will give you a hint in which direction to look.
There are mini games between some of the levels where you compete against the other character (controlled by the CPU or player 2) for bonus health.
The game can be played in 2-player-mode, with both players competing for points and health.

Apprentice is a platformer developed and published by German company Rainbow Arts. It was also released for Atari ST. Ports to the C64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum were being developed, but got cancelled. The game is not to be confused with The Apprentice on CD-i.

You play an apprentice who is also called Apprentice, and you need to defeat a dragon in order to become a magician.

Apart from jumping, you can pick up crates and use them to crush enemies and place them in order to reach places. You can kick crates around, drop them or throw them. If you hit enemies this way, they are crushed. You can collect money and spend it in a shop on items. Items include a micro-version of yourself, which you can activate and control to enter narrow spaces.

Dark Sun - Shattered Lands is an RPG developed and published by SSI.
Apparently, Data East was working on ports of the game for Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation, but both ports got cancelled.

The game is based on the Dark Sun campaign setting for AD& D. It takes place on the fantasy world of Athas. Athas was once peaceful and pleasant - until wizards found a way to increase their power by draining the planet's energy. The let to plant life dying, seas evaporating, the sun transforming into a crimson fireball, and Athas becoming a desert world. The wizards then gained control over the land, becoming sorcerer-kings and enslaving most of the population. One of such kings, Tectuktitlay, rules the city-state of Draj. By his orders, hundreds of slaves are sent to a battle arena to find monsters. You take control of a party of four who have also been imprisoned and sent to fight in the arena. Your initial goal is, of course, to escape. However, you learn that Tectuktitlay plans to raise an army in order crush the few remaining independent villages out side the city states. So you need to find a way to bring the villages to unite to be able to fend of the army of Draj.

The game is played from a top-down view. You move only the party leader when you're not in combat. Combat is turn-based and uses the same view. Dark Sun follows the AD&D rules regarding stats, fights, magic etc. You can talk to people via multiple choice dialogues. You often have the option to tasks and conflict in several ways, violently or not violently. The game allows you to create your own party, but there is pre-made party available for a quickstart.

Super Turrican is a platformer and run'n'gun developed by German company Rainbow Arts and published by British company Imagineer. It was only released in Europe. A US release by Seika corp. was planned, but got cancelled. The game is not identical to the SNES game of the same name.

Super Turrican combines levels of Turrican and Turrican II on the C64 with several new levels. The basic gameplay stayed the same. You can jump, run, kneel, shoot and turn into a wheel. There are two special weapons, a line shot and a devastating megablast. Both are limited in numbers, but you can get additional by collecting power ups. When you turn into a wheel, you are invincible and you can place bombs which explode after a few seconds. Unlike the original Turrican, you can stay in wheel mode as long as you like. There three main weapons in the game, a spread shot, a rebound (shots bounce of from surfaces) and a laser (powerful, but only shoots straight). Holding down fire will activate a surround shot which you can rotate around your character. While the original Turrican had a time limit, Super Turrican has none. In return, Super Turrican has no checkpoints, you have to start the level from the beginning after loosing a life.

Alien Sydrome is a shoot'em up developed by Sims Co. and published by Sega. It is based on the eponymous arcade game, but not a straight port of it.

The story is actually a sequel to the arcade game's. Five years after the events of the arcades version, the aliens return and infest a spaceship called Dagal. Ricky and Mary, the heroes from the original game, come to the rescue.

The formula has not been changed compared to the original. You go through each level in order to rescue hostages.The game uses a top-down view. Aliens are spawning constantly and you die on one hit. You have a gun with infinite ammo and you can pick up other weapon which are place on the walls. Once ouy have rescued enough hostages, the exit will open and you can leave the level. There is a time limit to beat each level, and you have to fight a boss before reaching the next level. the graphic sets, enemies and level layouts differ from the original game. Also, you can call a level map which shows the position of all remaining hostages at any time, while you had to pick up an item for that in the original.

The defiler's endgame was underwhelming.

Cyberpunks is a shoot'em up developed by British company Mutation Software and published by British company Core Design.
Fun fact: The game received a sequel after 30 years, in 2023, by the same developer, again for Amiga.

The game is a shoot'em up similar to Alien Syndrome and Alien Breed, but with a view extras. You control three characters, each with their separate weapons and inventory.

Edward Randy or The Cliffhanger - Edward Randy is a beat'em up developed and published by Data East. It was only released in the arcades.

The game is basically an Indiana Jones action scene simulate. You can punch, use your whip, hang on to platforms, jump and roll. You often fight on moving vehicles with enemies coming from all sides.

Dr. Tomy is a puzzle game developed and published by Italian company Playmark. It was only released in the arcades.

The game is a clone of Dr. Mario with some adult content, as you play for pictures of topless women.

Space in Motion - Future Trade is a managerial game and economic simulation developed by German company Lightrock Entertainment and published by German company Kelly Media. It was probably only released in German language.

The game is set in the year 2145. Mankind has spread throughout the galaxy and colonized various planets. Unfortunately, various syndicates and mafias have also risen. You play an unnamed person whose home planet has been taken control of by one of these crime syndicates. You had a company, but the syndicate forced you to pay protection money, and you had to ask them for a "credit". In exchange, they got control over your life. After a while, you decided to live under such conditions, you flee with the rest of your money from the planet. However, the syndicate has sent a hitman after you. Now you're on the moon Hi-Eco-Le and need to earn enough money while avoiding the killer, in order to buy a spaceship and shake off persecutors once and for all.

The game's environment is calculated randomly. It consists of a bunch of locations, both cities, farms or industrial complexes, where you can travel to. You can buy and sell different goods at these places. You can also accept errands like shipping a certain amount of a certain good from one location to the other within a time limit. Travelling between places costs you money, so you need to make sure to make enough money along the way. The game takes place in real-time, and the hitman moves around the map in search of you. You can see his position and on the map, and you need make sure to keep your distance, as the hitman is also faster than you. The game takes the distances between places into account. Since there is no way to cancel a travel between two locations, the hitman can catch up with you if he's close to you.
